Under the Electricity Regulation Act 1999 (as amended) it is a criminal offence for any individual to undertake Gas Works while not being registered as a Registered Gas Installer and also to portray oneself as a Registered Gas Installer while not being registered with the Register of Gas Installers of Ireland.
